The first post, easily, always proves to be the hardest. You know words must be placed on the screen; you want so badly to develop the little seedling of an idea you have for a blog. No matter how grand the idea, the first post, that blasted first post, can make or break the blogger. But then, after days and weeks pouring over possible hooks, something happens and inspiration arises. The blogger is finally filled to the brim with writing energy, writing ideas, and writing desire. That moment when the words finally flow is described perfectly by author D.H. Lawrence:

"I like to write when I feel spiteful. It is like having a good sneeze."
